Not sure what the reason is you probably can't, but keep in mind that there are always other ways such as adoption.

Damn, I didn't see your reply before I posted, so ignore that. Perhaps you could check out a few dating sites and see if there are any guys that you might be interested in that want kids?

Well, things have changed so much since I was having kids.

Now women well into their forties are having babies.

If you know that you can financially support a baby on your own, you could go to a sperm bank.
Or you could become a "Big Sister" to a child who needs an adult in their life.

Or you could babysit. Having a baby in the house would allow you to experience a form of nurturing.

It may be hard when the real mom comes to pick them up.......
OR..........you may be VERY happy to give them back at the end of the day :-)

Sounds to me, you want a family, not just kids. Getting knocked up is easy, all you need is a local bar and some alcohol, done deal. You want more than just that. That is commendable. Being on antidepressants doesn't make things not work for you, maybe feeling bad about yourself that you are can be a problem. I am on antidepressants and feel no shame or inadequacy. You shouldn't either. If you are, then I might say that the medicine isn't working, or maybe you need to realize that the pharmaceutical isn't as huge as it is because of depression. There are tons of sick people in the world taking long term medications for an uncounted number of reasons. You are just one in a sea of millions taking medication. Don't be down on yourself for taking them.

You know, I am not sure what you are dealing with- but 35 is still young, and the men you have not kept are not there for a reason that likely has to do with something better for YOU being out there. Don't give up on your dreams. But also know plenty of women raise children alone, and you could look to do this, if that is what you really want in life. But also know children take an exorbitant amount of energy and having a strong support network if you single parent would be critical! Keep your goal close to your heart and don't give up.

Thanks everyone. I meant that being on antdeprsants I'd be scared it would hurt the baby. And I have been thinkh of sperm Donor clinics and adoption but where I live I'd have to travel and don't have vehicle I just Fremont I have roadblocks and don't know how to get through them. Peace
