Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
One- is that it is SO much more about the quality of friends as opposed to the quantity. Better only several that are genuine, than many that are artificial.
Two- There are many others that have only the most shallow and insincere of friendships with those that ( to us) appear as if they are more sincere friendships.
Please try to take some comfort in the few strong and true friendships that you DO have. And please also don't get too wrapped up in the whole FB identity... not only how it feels to you, but also as it relates to feeling jealous of others.. others that may indeed feel very similar to you when they aren't FBing.
There's a whole lot out there that just isn't always as it appears.
((huge hugs))

I'm sorry you're down. I am too. Sometimes it is like trudging through hip tall mud. I just want you to know you're not alone. It's hard sometimes - even with meds, CBT, positive affirmations and all that crap.
Sometimes, nothing helps and we have to keep on trudging.
Hugs to you, Friend.
