I'm really looking forward to Spring, more than ever!

when they call it nuisance snow or nuisance snow on steroids there's a problem. I'm so tired of the inch or two every 36 to 48 hours. I used to love winter....this year I was over it middle of January

Not crying, but it does get me a bit down and anxious. I like to walk for my anxiety and depression and I get frustrated at the crappy conditions.

I HAD THE WORST ICE STORM OF MY CENTURY THIS PAST WEEK.
I LIVE DOWN SOUTH.
I USED 2 LIVE UP NORTH FOR 30 YEARS.
MY POWER WENT OUT AND TREES WERE BREAKING OFF ALL AROUND MY HOUSE WHILE THE POWER WAS OUT.
I HAD A BEAUTIFUL SHADE TREE I SAT UNDER IN THE SUMMER.
I DONT KNOW IF I WILL B ABLE TO SAVE IT.
IT IS LAYING AGAINST MY HOUSE AND GENTLY ON MY ROOF.
I DONT C ANY DAMAGE OTHER THAN THE NEW TRIM BEING SLIGHTLY BENT.
I DONT GO UP LADDERS AND PEAR AT TOPS OF ROOFS. LOL
I'LL LET THE INSURANCE ADJUSTER DO THAT.
I M A LITTLE DOWN ABOUT THE WHOLE THING.

Your are not the only one. This winter has been rough and it hasn't been like this for several years. This weather does affect me in feeling down.

I have watched the news and they have showed people on TV crying because they are so sick of the weather. You are not alone and I truly feel bad for all of you that have to suffer like you are. I pray that the weather changes for the better for all of you. Hugs GB

The media is fear mongering, exacerbating peoples' anxiety and depression so you will give up more freedoms for the illusion of safety. It is what the media does. Period. People in the South do not know how to drive in this crap and us Northerners and Midwesterners are fooled into believing this is Snowmeggodon. I used to live in the mountains where we would get feet of snow and deal with it. We used to get a couple feet and nobody would kick up a fuss - chain up and drive.

I have tens of thousands of miles of driving experience in snow, deep snow and ice fog. It is the other drivers who should stay home that worry me. Just because you have four-wheel-drive doesn't mean you can drive or stop on a dime. Please rear-end me so you and your insurance company can pay for my lower back surgery, lost wages, and buy me a brand new Acura for my pain and suffering.

An uninsured motorist will probably hit me. Such is life.

I am dealing with the winter okay but am not getting out and walking like I need to. Of course I prefer the warm weather and am looking forward to spring.

I am so so ready for a change in weather. Spring here is usually cold & rainy so it will probably be July until the weather really improves. But it will be nice to see some green at least. It's been a very long, cold winter here.
