Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
We know you are sad and we want to help we hope that you get better and that things will look up. If you can promise to pick a flower for me it will make me the happiest person right now.. please promise to pick me one when spring comes. HUGS!
You don't have to quit living over this.
Please don't!!!
Your life is most important. School can wait. Almost everything can wait when we are on the brink. Be kind to yourself and take care or you.
Please let us know how you are doing today. (((((HUGS)))))
It sounds like if you are in college you are very young, which is indeed the most vulnerable time to suicide. It will get better, as a 39 year old who never though she'd live that long I can attest.
Try putting off the suicide and doing some things that you enjoy to distract yourself. Take a long bath, binge-watch some good TV or watch Netflix, see your friends, drop out of school for now if it's stressing you out that bad.
School is not worth your life. I was suicidal in college also but never acted on it and I'm so glad I never did. It got better. It will for you too.
