Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I’ve lost my best friend yesterday.
(Nov 18, 2017)
My aunt overdosed and I no longer have her. She was confused, she had Bipolar, but she was a great person. She took care of me when times were hard for me. She told me
“I don’t wanna live anymore.” (Aunt)
“let me help you, I love you, don’t do this. Your kids will miss you, it’s not the right thing to do.” (Me)
“My kids will be better without me.” (Aunt)
“That’s definitely not true, they would be devastated, I would miss you too. I can come and help you if you want.” (Me)

Once again I'm so sorry for your loss. May God help you through the grieving process!
