Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Make a list and tick off each tiny thing you do.
Try and hold on to the fact that an untidy house doesn't reflect poorly on you!
See if you can pick some flowers/green leaves locally and stick them in a jug if you find flowers too pricey.
Reward yourself! Do one job, have a coffee and biscuit.
Remember that you have an illness, and you need to be gentle with yourself.
Keep a diary of the big decisions you have looming. Tick each one off as you do it, and if you need advice you can always ask us. Procrastination is the enemy of the depressed :(
forget about trying to clean the kitchen, school should be taking up all of your time and energy. as far as your relationships idk much about those, but if those add to the stress of your career then yes, I'm sure you are very frustrated.
have you thought about any of the possabilities for outside help with your cleaning and maybe some therapy to help you decide what exactly to do to help manage your frustrations? sorry, I know its soooo hard to try and do what you are doing...I'm in awe you are still going and trying to accomplish things.
I too was going to suggest a list and then prioritise it
be very very kind to yourself
try not to give yourself too much to do in one day
little steps will soon add up to a long journey

Make your list of things to do little things. things you can accomplish easier, then you will feel better. You are looking at the big picture of the house and not seeing any results. I think it sounds like you've been busy. Dont count the little things out.

thanks again...i'm gonna keep trying...
then get another page and write down essential and non essential - tackle the essential first then work your way through the easiest of the tasks on the non essential list and remember to reward yourself when you complete each task
I have started to put away a small amount of money for each task I do and I have seen a nice silver bracelet that I will buy for myself when I have earned it
but also remember to take breaks it will help you work better if you have regular breaks
I live alone so I can let alot of thing go and do.
I do have a 22 yr old daughter who lives with me, but she is rarely here. She is in college and also works. My house is not the cleanest, but it is not "hoarder" looking either.
Sometimes you need to give yourself a break.
update...I got a little more done today...but...i also had moments of breakdown again...i am figuring some stuff out...and I think maybe if I can just get all this other stuff done and caught up by feb 22...then I can focus on the problem...but it's hard...real hard...cause i figured out what it is that is missing...and it's going to take a while before this problem is resolved ... so for now...it's crying time again...
