why do they suspend students for cutting??? personally, i think that's dumb. they should help the student instead of just ignoring them.

okay, so talk to these people that know and tell them that the reason your friend is cutting is because of the parents and helping your friend get suspended and being stuck at their house is so NOT going to help. explain to them how it's not going to help. then try getting help for your friend.

Problem with that is that y friend who is cutting doesnt know that I know!!

The school doesn't want to be Joel accountable for her cutting if she died or some thing

They say a " true friend won't let another friend cut"

=/ hmm, honestly no matter what you do your friend might see you as the villian. you didnt tell them, they're mad. you did tell them, they're mad. you know what i mean?

i have personally never been in that situation; if i was, i would prob try and talk to your friend though and tell them wats going on.

I was recently talking to one of thenpeoplenthat are going to tell and I tried to explain to them that it might make it worse but they were mad at me for not wanting an adult to know and being ok with her cutting (in her words not mine)

yea, i understand. cus it could go both ways. the way i look at it is ur friend will be mad either way. so just tell her and deal with her being mad because chances r she might be mad more if you dONt tell her, you kno?

idk what you should tell them but ive been in your friemnds situation and when my frinds told my teacher i got rly pissed at them i felt betrayed and i sunk even lower than i was i started resenting those friends and i eventually lost them ...it made everything worse so dont let them do it

the freind did tell the teacher and when i found out i was furious and i didnt know what to say so i just walked away

later on that day i went to tell the person who cuts about ti and thankfully she wasnt mad at me but i kept repeating"they dont know how to help and they want to so this is the only way they know how dont be mad at them they are still your friends"

I think that's ridiculous of a school to do tbf!
My best mate found out about me a few years back, and told the head of year...I wasn't angry at her, she was concerned for me, shocked, and worried.
The school got me to see a doctor, got me school counselling and I ended up seeing a psychiatrist.
Tbh, I'm so glad my friend told someone, otherwise I wouldn't've got any help at all!
But your school policies seem to be different, and wrong. Suspending someone for cutting?!
Never heard something so ridiculous. And as tiffany said... it was a right choice to talk about it to her, and she shouldnt be as mad as she could be if you didnt xxx

Just and update

The school councilor talked to her two days ago at the end of the week bu the beginning of school... She was late to second period when she walks in I can see her eyes looked sore the ottome of her eyes puffed and she looked lifeless....

She talked to me the next period about everything

The counselor called her dad, they made her sign an slip saying she will not countinuig cutting if she wanted to stay in our school


She kept going on saying that she is pissed at everyone she feels her parents are gonna hate her and make we feel worse

They were supposed to go have fun up in the mountains this weekend but now she doesn't know if they still will


She doesn't have her phone which makes her more isolated and have no way to contact someone to talk to about her feelings...


When I saw her it hurt me a lot to see her because I know that I could either

1 get worse

Or

2 get better slightly


My feeling of all of this makes myself think about it too

I understand her pain if I was in her situation I wouldn't even have the courage to go to school Tm knowing that rumors already spread and almost everybody knows...

But I hope she comes To school Tm so I can talk to her and she isn't wih we parents hurting...,


I don't think she understands how mug I care because everyone judges me different and no one take sme seriously as a friend or human being...
