Depression - Teen Support Group
Teen depression is marked by persistent sadness, discouragement, loss of self-worth, and loss of interest in usual activities. Depression can be a temporary response to many situations and stresses. Teens may be more susceptible to depression due to the normal maturation process, the stress associated with it, and conflicts with parents as they become more independent.
So I wrote this few days ago...& i thought it would be nice to share it with all of you and I hope you may find it helpful and feel better an that you are not alone!! If anyone would like to talk i'm here if you need a friend =)
i know you're not happy
i know it's not fair
the way life just treats you
it's not making sense
you think you deserve it
you think that you are wrong
but you're getting tired
of suffering too much
you try to smile
to cover your sadness
you try to look happy
to cover your tears
but you know it won't work
if you don't believe
so keep your strength
keep your hopes up
things do get better
they can't get worse.

I LOVED these two verses.....ur whole poem is AMAZING....even though I am not an English teacher to judge it accordin to the spelling and the grammar but surely I am a human to value the meanings that it carries....
