Depression - Teen Support Group
Teen depression is marked by persistent sadness, discouragement, loss of self-worth, and loss of interest in usual activities. Depression can be a temporary response to many situations and stresses. Teens may be more susceptible to depression due to the normal maturation process, the stress associated with it, and conflicts with parents as they become more independent.
I haven't been through what you have, i can only imagine and it seems really hard and I'm sorry you have to go through it practically alone.
I'm obviously on no one's side here because it's not my business, but i believe everyone makes mistakes and i think it's great that you've accepted that and want to fix things with Austin. I don't know how long it's been since you and Austin had broken up but maybe he still needs some time to accept it, sometimes on the outside someone can say they are 'ok' and 'they are fine' but on the inside they can still be really hurt. And that i know from experience.
I really think you deserve to be happy and crying few times every week doesn't seem remotely close. Fortunately i've been through that for the past year and a half so I know how it feels to have that constant feeling of feeling really sad, alone and empty. I think if you need to cry, cry. But if you can stop yourself you should do that, take some deep breaths, plug your ipod in and just sit back and relax or burry yourself in something you love. Even write out how you feel and why you think you feel it, it sounds stupid but i started doing it a while ago and it really helps to just get it out of your system especially when you have no one you can talk to.
I don't think Ashley and Brian meant to kind of make it sound like you can just go and they don't care, I think maybe possibly (and who knows cus i wasn't there) but they like each other again? or they want to spend more time together? I don't know, you know them best so put yourself in their shoes, im sure they didn't mean it in a bad way.
I hope this has kind of helped, sorry for the essay.
Good luck with your friends and I hope everything works our for you. You deserve to be happy, so don't give up :)
You can talk to me whenever if you ever need to.

The only thing you can to is admit you were wrong, sincerely apologize and give them space to heal. It takes time to rebuild trust, don't try to rush things.
