Depression - Teen Support Group
Teen depression is marked by persistent sadness, discouragement, loss of self-worth, and loss of interest in usual activities. Depression can be a temporary response to many situations and stresses. Teens may be more susceptible to depression due to the normal maturation process, the stress associated with it, and conflicts with parents as they become more independent.
I dont want to make this too long. Ha ha but yea. Ive had issues with self harm, depression and suicide attempts, starting when I was around 12-13 but then it dropped off for about a year and I was feeling better. Fast forward to December 2010, I start feeling depressed again. Assuming itll blow over I just deal with it. Well it continues to get worse until I start self harm again in February. Honestly, Im just looking for someone to talk to and connect with on a daily/near daily basis, because I dont want to do this alone nor do I want to have another suicide attempt. I would also like this to be a mutual thing if you would like it to be, you know, support each other and all that. I want to be there for others too. Leave a reply here or send a message if you want. Weve been friends for 2 years until 1 day we lost communication. SInce than i havent a clue where she is. Sad story that requires a violin but haha no one to play it.
But i can understand that you need someone to watch your back and be there for you in a way where you feel that you can honestly trust them.
