Of all the things he does I have to say that this drives me NUTS! I understand why he does it- it is because he needs the security but OMG it really tries my patience. I feel like tying him to his chair sometimes.

Lord do I understand that one ... He is sitting 3 feet from me as I type this. Sometimes I feel he is sucking the breath out of me. Try locking yourself in the bathroom and read for awhile or sit in silence. My husband will asks questions through the door or knock to see if I am still in there but it sure give me a break!!! Good Luck my Friend!

When I am on the computer he will stand next to me tapping his fingers, he isn't reading what I write or looking at the screen, he is looking off into the distance. He just wants to be near me but the tapping drives me nuts.

Oh yes - two seconds after I close the bathroom door I get asked if I want a cup of tea.Have to count to ten then reply 'Not at this moment dear!'.As other people have said - even this will stop eventually.

It is so wonderful to read others GET IT! My husband just came to me with his pillbox and asked what day it was. I looked and saw he took ALL HIS PILLS FOR THE DAY. I now have to find a hiding spot for the box. I cleaned the house yesterday only to get up to find the house looking like a bomb hit it. How can one person make such a mess ... IN EVERY ROOM? As I type this; he is now sitting next to me looking out the window crying. Ahhh another day of Xanax to get me through ... Hugs to All!
