Anyone had an epidural to leave you numb for hours. Thought I was paralyzed yesterday but after 5 hours the feeling started coming back. Do not want another one for a while.

Hugs to you, Bama! I have sets of steroid epidurals twice a year, and I've never had such a side effect. When I saw another doctor I was laid face down on the table, and they placed a machine over my neck and used it to line up the needle. Truth be told, it didn't hurt nearly as bad as my current sets do.
My doctor now has me set on a table and bend my neck as much as I can, with my chin pushed hard into my chest. It hurts so bad at this point! A couple of times after he's withdrew the needle I felt a pain/numbness around the area for a good half hour or more. And then for 2-3 days it feels like a truck ran over me. But 5 hours? No mam'?!
