If any of you are like me being on meds for years and years can mess with the plumbing of our bodies. I would suffer terribly! I found something that works:

MANGOS

Thats right, mangos! I even got my Mom to use them when she was having problems with her cancer meds...and it worked!

So you say...what do I do when they are not in season? Baby Food Mangos! Gerber makes mango baby food and it works just as good.

That is great news, my friend swears by eating pears, they are both high in fiber, I would have to live on them, since my plumbing is not working on it's own anyway, I have an arsenal, pardon the pun, of natural and not laxitives to function at all. I have high pain levels so the opioids are doing their thing, I am not. lol. but I have been putting metemusil in my fruit and yogurt smoothies, add some soy mild and it gets real thick, better than ice cream and not as fattening. I will remember the mangos though and pick some up, how many do you have to eat for them to Work?????

You do not have to eat many at all...usually 1/2 of a fresh one or one container of baby food. I have also seen them frozen in the fruit section at wal-mart...keep in touch!

Thanks for sharing! I have also been on medications for several years and quite frequently have problems with my "plumbing". Its not bad enough that Im in pain with my back but then having trouble with that on top of it just isnt very pleasant. I'll be going to the store tomorrow for some mangos, thanks!

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
