Tinzaparin shots

Just wondering - I am on daily Tinzaparin shots. I honestly feel lousy. Tired, foggy and just not right. Have being on them since Feb 14th. Just wondering if this is normal or if something else is going on?

This is a list of less serious side effects according to Drugs.com (http://www.drugs.com/sfx/tinzaparin-side-effects.html):

mild headache, dizziness;
back pain;
fever;
pain, irritation, swelling, or bruising of the skin where the medicine was injected;
nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, gas;
diarrhea, constipation;
mild skin rash; or
sleep problems (insomnia).

Could be side effects or maybe you have a bug, or a combination of the two. You can check with your pharmacist to see if what youre experiencing is common.

Thanks. I looked it up to but didn't see that site. Maybe it is just a matter of getting use to the stuff. Really getting sick of feeling like crap all the time.

I take a medication for another issue that, for the first two months I took, made me feel terrible. But I was told that was expected. So I think if it continues, or if it's really bad, it doesn't hurt to ask your pharmacist or doctor if what you're feeling is normal for some people.

I have been sick on and off since Christmas with one thing or another so it's hard to just sort out what's causing what. So I get you on that.

I was on Tinzaparin for three months, I had no side effects whatsoever, but as DVT and anticoags, we all react differently to them.

ie. I can't take warfarin, I have numerous side effects that prevent me from functioning... Others don't.

Maybe it is just a virus. Hope so. Can't take Warfarin so want this to work out.

    We all have 24 hours in a day.  How we spend these hours is important.  Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do.  Gonna have to work on that.Your turn.  Tell me another truth.
