There are some really old threads on this that you might be able to search for to look for tips.

I've been told you can do the injections anywhere you can pinch an inch. So your thighs might be an option too, just to give you some more options of places to inject.

I tended to bruise less when I inserted the needle straight (vs on an angle) and when I didn't rub or touch the area after injecting. Rubbing the site will make you bruise more. I think you can inject in other fatty areas of the body like the upper thigh or the upper area of your butt, but I'd check with your doctor or pharmacist first on that to be sure.

I only did the Lovenox bridge, so don't have a ton of experience, but didn't have any bruising or pain aside from the burning of the serum. Are you going in at a 90 degree or 45 degree angle? Do you pinch the skin? I also found it better to plunge super, DUPER slow (barely moving, really), and to pull the needle out slowly. I know a friend who has an ill DH said there is some sort of numbing cream you can get for injections? I always held firm pressure on for 30 seconds, too.

I pinch an inch and inject straight in. The injection itself doesn't hurt - just lots bruising.

I'm on the same stuff, bruises are awful, doesn't seem to matter where you choose to jab, it swells & bruises badly.

Try love handles, thighs, even your hip if you can reach - quite funny trying, or have I developed a peculiar sense of humour? =P
