I have three little boys and our family loves to go swimming. We went to a waterpark last week and there was NO WAY I would go without compression stockings (my leg swells, turns purplish, and starts to feel like a Charley Horse after even one minute of standing without the stockings - I have a two-foot-long chronic blood clot). So there I was, walking around the waterpark with waist-length compression stockings under my swimsuit. I saw a couple of guys actually MAKING FUN of me for wearing them (they kind of look like pantyhose but at least I got the kind without the dark band at the top). I saw many others looking at my pantyhose legs but at least they were not nudging each other and snickering like the other two guys.
Do you have any suggestions? Do they come in bright colors so at least people would not think I was wearing pantyhose to the waterpark?

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? In Summer when it's hot I only wear one open-toed knee-high one on my DVT leg and it looks a bit like a bandage so obviously medical.
There are some colourful ones around, too, though I don't know their availability in the US (they have them in Canada). The nicest ones I've seen are Sigvaris. They not only come in colours, but also have different patters on offer! You can probably buy them online.
Yes, I have to wear at least thigh-high ones, only on one leg. Thank you for pointing me in a good direction, Pippalippa!
