Deep-vein thrombosis, also known as deep-venous thrombosis or DVT, is the formation of a blood clot ("thrombus") in a deep vein. It can be caused by something preventing blood from circulating or clotting normally. Join the support group if you are coping with DVT and find others who are going through the same challenges.

I think too that some of us who've had PEs come from a different perspective. We're just happy we didn't die so anything that comes at us seems like small stuff in comparison.

I was treated wit a baby aspirin and it worked til 10 month ago. I just wish they would have given me some warning signs. I was told by 4 doctors that I am on warafin for life because of the antiphosiphid antibodies.
