It is Sunday here and I actually received a call from the Hematologist's office. Booked another appointment in June and wants me to have another dopplar. Also set me up with another specialist. Thought that was kinda unusual but the receptionist said she often works Sunday!

I used to work for a doc, and he would often work on Sundays, I would leave him a list of people to call, and he would do it. It's not that unusual for a busy practice. Caring docs do things like that.

I have a GI doc who has called me at home on things on a Saturday, or in the evening. When he first did it, it scared the hell out of me because I just assumed a call made during non business hours had to mean something terrible. Nope, just a guy making the most of out of his time. It's true that caring doctors even if they're busy specialists do that for you.
