Two fingers BELOW the knee. As long as the top of the sock is below the crease of your leg behind your knee, when you bend your knee at a 45 degree angle. If it's in the crease it is mighty uncomfortable. I agree.

I'd go back to where ever you got them and have them take another look at your measurements. I were thigh highs because my clot extended around and above my knee. But I understand that the knee highs should fit below the knee as Dero described. If you google "knee high compression stockings fit " using the image feature, there's a bunch of pictures showing where the stockings should hit.

Hahaha, yeah when I read that it made me laugh. Nope I'm probably more a shoulder high or a neck high, given that I'm 5'8" and depending who I'm standin' next to.

I'll light a candle and say a prayer that RMB doesn't get any shorter. I like making fun of my mom because she is the size of Snookie from Jersey Shore. I told her to watch her osteoperosis because she couldn't afford to lose not even half an inch. On another note, I find shorter women to be very sexy. No one wants to date an Amazon woman who can put you in a choke hold everytime you refuse to wash the dishes, or take out the trash. Although I think RMB can kick some major arse without being that tall. lol.
