Hi! So, I tried to squeeze into my old thigh high jobst hose, and there is just no way they are getting up my legs. I have put on too much weight. The hema told me the other day to wear them. What kind have you guys used? The jobst were prescribed years ago for the blood pooling, is the same brand or type ok for the DVT leg? Thanks!

And is thigh high ok for clot that ran up my entire leg? The ones I had were open toe.

Jobst are fine. I have Jobst stockings, thigh high, 30-40 compression, open toe. This was based on my doc's recommendation to me, not right away but about a year after my DVT because I had PTS symptoms.

So I'd suggest getting your doc's opinion of what you should wear. It can be different for everyone depending on the extent of their clot and what is comfortable.
