I was diagnosed with a DVT in September.
I had Thyroid Cancer 13 years ago and my Thyroid levels were fine a week before I went into the hospital.
Two weeks after I got out of the hospital my TSH started to rise and I needed to have my Thyroid Meds adjusted.
I take coumadin. I am not stable yet.
Anyone else with no Thyroid or Hypothyroidism who take Thyroid Meds have problems with coumadin levels when they adjust their thyroid meds.
When I look on line it looks like coumadin interacts with everything.
I am a newbie and still in the learning curve.

But you're right, so many medications do interact, so it's a matter of testing your INR more often as dosages change for the other meds you're on. I've been on the same med for another health issue for several years now, and had to up the dosage this summer, and my INR did get a little wonky after the new dose kicked in. So my doc just adjusted my warfarin to compensate.
I was on and off antibiotics a year or so ago because of sinus issues. Most of those interact with warfarin so my numbers were hard to control for a while.
The thing is, if you take one dose of something constantly, your warfarin can be adjusted to deal with that. That's very common and it just takes a little trial and error to get it right. It is completely possible to take both meds at the same time and to be healthy and have the right dosages.
Hang in there! Getting the doses right takes time, but it will happen.
All the docs are talking with everyone and they think is the thyroid meds.
I have an appt at the end of the month with a hemotologist.
