Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Support Group
Deep-vein thrombosis, also known as deep-venous thrombosis or DVT, is the formation of a blood clot ("thrombus") in a deep vein. It can be caused by something preventing blood from circulating or clotting normally. Join the support group if you are coping with DVT and find others who are going through the same challenges.

Has anyone else found that since their DVT diagnosis a few things have happened...1) You can't relax (even when you think you're relaxing) 2) you experience heart palpitations 3) you think you have other serious illnesses?
The last 5 months have been filled with fear about what ELSE could be wrong with my otherwise healthy self (before this all happened). I've gone from thinking I have MS, to heart disease to cancer b/c my body is still so on high alert that I feel EVERY single twitch, pain or bubble in my body! IT"S EXHAUSTING!!!! If anyone else can relate please let me know how you deal.
Thanks!

Nationalday.com proclaims September 28th as Self Aware Day. I took a few snaps of various core values lists and tried to pick my top five core values (kinda hard to only pick 5). But here are my top picks. Feel free to list a few of yours too:GodLovePeaceStability Compassion

Now that I am not talking to my whatever best friend, I realized that her life is full of drama. I had grown tired of hearing her stories about her boyfriend many months ago. She basically had been monopolizing conversations for that long too. She pretty much stopped asking me questions about me. I passed her in front of her classroom the other day and didn't even look at her. I am...

A) I needed to catch my breath (although I still feel as though I can not get enough air, I think this feeling also contributes to my heart pounding).
B)I need to trust in my doctors.
C) and I need to realize that being on Warfarin has probably saved my life.
I still worry about every twitch, every heart palpitation, every ache. But I try not to dwell on it. I try not to complain about how tired I am or about how my body aches more now than ever before, I think that I was causing my family distress by complaining. All in all I need to remember that every day is a gift; thats why it's called the present. I try to be more positive, it's not always easy, and for those days a good hard cry never hurts. I hope your day gets better knowing you are not alone.
I also worry about MS and Cancer. However, of all the things I worried about before the DVT I never expected this. So rationally, I realize worry is a waste of time. You can spend all your time worrying about the conventional diseases only to get something like a DVT.
