Angie, good to hear from you. Those squirrels didn't mess around! Glad they didn't pull you up the tree! I was at one of the outdoor restaurants and a squirrel ran by, stopped. Looked at my sandwich, and I held out a small piece and he/ she bit me. My friends freaked out, sure it was rabid. I never did that again, and obviously, I never came down with rabies. My dogs are fixated with a squirrel that runs around our backyard. He stays on the top of the fence and the girls chase him .They don't make a sound, just run back and forth chasing him. He can entertain them for hours. Funny girls. How are your girls?

My Shep has caught two squirrels in my yard one before I moved into this house and one in this yard which has no trees....he of course killed them...the one at the other house he brought into the living room....the one here I found outside....

I took Tucker over to my Mom's today....he is such a big clumbsy dog that he stepped on her feet hurting her and beat her with his thick wagging tail........anyway she likes him and he did behave very well with my sisters little doggie....who was growling to protect her food which was in a ball...one that lets her get some out at a time...finally sister said just give me that ball....so I gave it to her and that was about time we were leaving...I did not want to stay too long with Tucker because it was not appreciated by mom when we got there but she does love dogs...and tucker is very friendly to everyone....Shep does not come to her at all when I take him there....but he does not like anyone but me.....

anyway I got an appointment at the Apple Genius Bar for my sister set up for friday afternoon now....she needed my compter and help to make the appointment and funny as it is she signed in with her user name and password and it still sent me the email confirming that I have an appointment that day...LOL I am not sure where she goofed up but appears she after resetting her password signed in with my ID which populated from my computer...LOL

I told her to tell them that she is my brother and that the appointment is hers....LOL

Sorry to hear you were bitten. I never worried about rabies, but I probably should have at the time. But, they sure were fun to feed. It's funny how they communicate with one another with their tails. They are fun to watch. It's entertaining when they become irritated with one another are start that squacking sound they do. That's funny about the girls chasing the squirrel. I think mine would probably bark their heads off if they ever saw one.

I bet Tucker had a fun outing. I need to take the girls over to see Mom and Dad sometime, but it's tough to control the two of them in the car. And, I feel guilty if I take one someone and the other doesn't get to go. They stay so excited and want to jump all over the place. When I took Winnie to get her nails done a couple of weeks ago, she put the car in neutral with her big rump, lol. Gotta love 'em, lol.

the car seat is covered with white dog hair now...so I either go get car washed or no student will be able to take the driving test as they would not want to sit in that passenger seat and declare my car "dirty" and they have the right to a clean car so the manual says...LOL

I can always tell that my husband let the girls out of the carrier in my car. Hair everywhere.

Angie, I agree squirrels are cute and entertaining. We had a bunch of babies in our yard. I would watch them chase each other, do cartwheels, somersaults, for real! Active little fellows or gals. My sister watched two squirrels, one got injured and the other squirrel carried the inured squirrel up the tree! Loyal and heroic, aren't they?

We just had a deer incident, Bella about blew my ears out with her high pitched bark. Lobo did her low, " oh, no." That's what it sounds like she is saying. I didn't like chasing a cute little fawn away, but like I always tell you, they eat my flowers!

I finally found a dress and hat for the pollo event on Sunday. I cut it too close this year. I even got my hair cut this morning, and I get styled on Sunday. This is exhausting. That makes three hair appointments in four days, ridiculous!

So, Bill, do you have an outfit picked out for the birthday party, and did you get your hair done? LOL

I am going to wear my Birthday Suit! LOL no I did not get my hair done but I will take a shower washing my hair in morning or maybe tonight before bed....clothes do not make a difference it is casual all over our world....

I prefer casual. Although, it is fun to get dressed up once in a while. However, clothes have gotten so expensive and the quality has gone down.

Even dog clothing has gotten ridiculous. So expensive. I was looking at coats for both of them, $ 39.00 each. I think that 's a lot. It's too cold here for Chiuhauas to not have fall and winter clothes. It's like having children.

My posts keep dropping the bottom paragraphs, or I'm having serious medical problems. Angie, are you out there? I keep forgetting to ask you," how did you survive the boat races? And, was it a positive impact on the town?"

Do you know where the boat race is? I haven't heard, but I haven't been listening to the news as much lately. The NASCAR race was a couple of weeks ago. Traffic was horrendous around town for a while, but I did survive, lol. Hope you all have a great weekend.

Oh, I was confused, it was the NASCAR race. Glad that's over, huh? I'm going to spend the day recovering and resting so I can make it to Pollo on Sunday. Then, starting Monday, I have to find Gatsby attire for a big event on Friday. I have no clue on that one....

Yes, very glad to see the race traffic leave town. No fun for me today (again). I needed to mow, and the yard was still pretty wet late this morning, and we are expecting more rain, so I mowed the entire yard with the push mower. My poor hands are all blistered. Oh, I'm going to be sore in the morning. I need to get somewhere with a smaller yard one day. Ok, done whining for now, lol.

a push mower? like not a gas mower? I have not used one of those since the sixties....but mine now are with the driver motor to the wheels....I could not even cut my small yard without the wheel drivers....

anyway Mom was surprised so much....she dropped her jaw when she saw everyone....it was well hidden but there were some close calls...last night my niece about blew it....but sister covered it over...LOL
