Hi Folks,
We had tentatively planned on doing maintenance on the site this coming weekend, but due to issues we were forced to do the maintenance early this morning. Unfortunately, content posted to the site during the maintenance window was not saved and can not be recovered.
We apologize for not providing advance notice of the migration and for the loss of content.

I'm sure you and DS realizes that "our continued support" of this site is running pretty thin..............newer members are not staying..............and many of us older members are "migrating" elsewhere:(
Its really a SAD situation for everyone concerned........DS used to be a good site..........and its just gone to hell:(
Search still doesn't work.
I'm still not getting emails.
The site has been like molasses off & on all day today (presumably AFTER the 'fix').
I'm sure the DSTeam has been stressed to the max & I would imagine they are doing the best they can w/what they have.
What I suspect is this: I would imagine you guys (the DSTeam) are short staffed and horribly underfunded. Very sad for you guys and for all DS members because the functionality of DS is at an all time low.
IMHO, This reflects very poorly on dr oz, oprah & all sharecare backers & management. Sharecare appears to be neither sharing nor caring when it comes to DS.
Of course this is just my humble opinion and I could be wrong, but based on my years of experience here on DS and in the corporate world, I doubt it.

And going back to Dero's post #1 where he quotes Jesse about things not being saved or recovered.......................well.........THEY (DS) said "migration" was Jan 19th.......................so what the hell were they doing today?????????? Just practicing????????

and their "migration" made it so that i can't write a journal AT ALL in this profile.
wth? if this was a site that we were paying for, i'd sue them. its ridiculous. wish someone would copy this site and put out their own. my journal has been messed up since the summer of 2012. it makes no sense that bigger sites like facebook have no issues, but this little site is always a mess?!
They gave us a month notice with that yellow box........and then nothing.? (Deb loved that box......and we all looked for it.)
Post's started everywhere about how our replies were lost and all comments gone. We were FAIR warned during the "scheduled migration" but not sure why we could not have been warned this time around.
I do feel a bit better thinking I was not just ignored.........or band. LOL.
