A friend and I were just discussing this this morning and it seems that she may very well be right about meebo not coming back.
Meebo was bought out by Google.
I got a message on my ipod that meebo messenger is being disconneted on July 11, 2012. So unless DS plans on bringing on Google chat or another chat engine, we will not have chat here again:( I'm really disapointed and I wish DS would bring on something else. Google, AOL, MSN Something!
Do any CL's have any information?

A friend and I chat using Windows Live Messenger, if that's any help to anyone.
That is interesting information you have there, I have not read anything like you mentioned. I do know that once Google took on meebo, they discontinued any older versions of the software.
As for DS and Meebo, I don't believe your statement is founded.While Its probably best for any updated information on updates to any of DS, including the Chat function should probably be left to the engineers and admins to give, I can say, from what I hear, Meebo should be available once again on DS as the engineers are working on a solution. Any more information than that would and will come from the admins.
