Vonni I don't think Meebo (chat) is working yet for people on here. Getting Firefox probably wont make any difference IMO.
You could try it or ask someone who does have if it is working for them.

Vonni I just went into my account to activate meebo to see if it will work on Firefox - but found that the link to activate/deactivate it is no longer available.
Just talked to a friend who used to use it and she checked her account and there is not longer any link to the chat at all.
Maybe they are going to change the chat.... IF they do I hope it is one where we can have a few friends chat together AND have the option to put in graphics - smileys and things like that would be good.

there is NO chat on my end at all! plus, i do not see ppl's posts at all!

I get that the Meebo chat bar is gone, (annoyed) but even when you log on to meebo's page and try to log on it doesn't let you. why? it should let you log in on there still.

Well it may be over - but the multiple posts and/or not being able to post at all in the members groups is getting REAL annoying :(

I just thought I'd pass that along here - since I've been passing it along in the feedback form for the past 24 hours and IT KEEPS HAPPENING!!!

I've got some funny stuff that the members of one of my member groups could really benefit from and that little circle keeps going around and around and around and then I see black print saying I can't do that - huh? It tells me to come back later - hmmmmm - I've been trying for the past hour!!! It is later - come on you guys. I realize this was a huge endeavor - but gosh - we're used to this place running well - this is hard.

Does Meebo now not work at all with Firefox? No chat for me since migration.

I also agree with LindaJean that it takes forever to post, and then some will post 20 times. This is weird, huh?

Mystic as far as I know Meebo is not working at all - if you go into "My Account" page on your profile page the Chat section - giving you the option to activate/deactivate it is gone. It has nothing to do with what browser you are using at this point. They just do not have it on the site at the moment.

Now that is odd as I am finding the site really quick now and what used to take a minute or two now takes seconds to post and I have only had one duplicate and I think that I did that bu pressing the submit button a couple of times. LOL

Just noticed that the list of my journals is missing from the right hand side of the page - as are ones on my friends pages too.

Oh dear I wonder if the search on them would work without them showing up on my page?

I haven't gotten any friend activity,,,,journals, hugs,etc. since Saturday. I know my friends are more active than that.

I am really upset about meebo missing. I have friends i talk to regularly on it and one is suicidal. Why would you eliminate the chat? It seems that you do whatever you like no matter who it hurts. You have banned people on the cp site that were desperately needed. There is never an explaination as to why. Are you just a bunch of nazis?

As was stated earlier, our Meebo/DailyStrength Chat bar is currently not working. This is due to bugs related to our migration project - we did not remove the functionality nor have we discontinued the feature. Our engineering group is working hard to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, I do not have any ETA yet as to when the issues will be resolved or when the Meebo/DailyStrength Chat bar will working again. But it will.

Like i stated i get the chat bar is gone from here, But when you go to www.meebo.com , You should be allowed to log onto DS chat it has a place for it, So why doesn't it work?
