is there a site for adult children

my husband passed 18 months ago and i found this site to be quite helpful. my step daughter (32) is going through a tough time right now about losing her dad and i was wondering if there was a site for older children who lost their parents. thank you for your help. my prayers with you all who are making this journey. its not easy but you'll get through.

I was an adult when I lost my biological father as well as my grandfather who was more like a dad to me than my own father was. We also lost my husbands mother and brother within the same 5-year time period.

It was a lot of loss all at once.

Thank you WanderingVet for posting the link to the bereavement group, I think I will check it out. I just feel nothing. I don't think I've ever allowed myself to feel anything or deal with those losses.

findingdimes I hope your step-daughter finds what she needs to help herself feel better and cope with the loss of her dad. Best of luck to you and her.

If you go to the top of your page and in the field used to find a "condition, treatment or adviser" and write in that field "Adult Children Anonymous" you will come up with a few results in the form of member groups. Good luck. :)
