Here is another problem!

I wrote a big long message to someone but it wasn't quite finished. I stopped to go run my 4 miles before dark so when I came home, I picked up my laptop, finished my message, and clicked the send button.  It took me to the sign in page.  Now I figured out a way around this in the past. I use to be able to hit the back button, go back to my message, highlite it and copy it, go to the sign in page, sign in, go back to my messages, paste and send.


Now, when I click the send button, it will take me to the sign, but when I click the back button, it won't let me out of the sign in page until I actually sign in but after I sign in and go back, the text is gone!  I just lost a huge amount of text that took me 3 hours to write and I am not very happy about that. I was only able to recover 3 lines. I guess I will have to tie a string around my finger because I will have to remember to copy and paste every single message I write or take a chance on losing it should I leave this computer before I finish.  I am not the first person this has happened to which is why I chose to mention it here.


I know I talked about this problem many months ago but it was never addressed, unless I missed it.

bob only you would leave the computer up running and walk/run 4miles...then expect to pick up where you left off...my computer stops goes to sleep after set amount of time....then it is game on if I have not finished something either resign in or rewrite everything....it was a mistake you made...I am sorry....when you got home you should have first copied saved everything you had already typed and gone back to sign into DS because it boots me out anytime I close my computer....then after that gotten to post again with the copied material....see you knew about this but insanity did the same thing without changing anything in what you did....so I guess I am saying it is not DS fault....

Run faster, run fewer miles, or finish your computer business before you run. Priorities, man.

Just a thought, from someone else who sometimes writes long post....DS times your being online. This creates issues for those who...troll!!! Or, are not serious bout DS. If you know your comment, post will be long, if you've been online for a while, write your comment/post on a documents page (I use "word pad") then, copy/paste your comment/post where you want it. Never leave the computer open until you return. You will be logged off and lose your comment/post.

Just an idea.

I realize that now. What DS did in an effort to make their site more secure was prevent me from going back to the post from the sign in page. I use to be able to do that. I guess that can be a good thing but it was just upsetting to see so much work go down the toilet. Ah well.....shit happens!

Yup...stuff happens...then you make plans for it not to happen again....then....you forget and it happens again!!!

I use to run in the morning when I was alot younger but am lazy in my old age. Mornings and evenings are cold so I try to go during the warmest part of the day which is the early part of the afternoon.
