Could the powers that be - let us know why posts are closed for review - especially when it is a post that is merely requesting information?
A post was just closed that was requesting information re friends' requests. The post was not abusive in any capacity whatsoever and when these sorts of things happen, it becomes confusing and makes some of us a bit wary of participating in the groups.
Could someone explain?

Problem 1. I don't know what thread you are referring to.
Problem 2. If it has been removed, I cannot find out what thread it was.
Problem 3. If it is removed, DS Admin removed it .. I would not necessarily know why.
If it is closed (not removed), there are many possible reasons for it to be closed .. which is the point of this thread.
As such .. it was closed so that DS Admin can review it .. the whole thread. That is why it was closed and that is who closed it.
WHY IT WAS CLOSED FOR REVIEW can be for many (heretofor unknown) reasons .. which again ... is the point of of most of this thread.
Further .. WHY an Admin or Admin assistant does anything is USUALLY not revealed ... another point being made in this thread.
Maybe it is best described as 'DS does anything it wants to do with the content of their website'.
I had a friend ask them to do that and remove all her journals and pms and they did. But I will not go into details as I don't want people trying to guess who it might be.
As people have said here some threads that are started innocently enough but are taken over and can turn nasty with people attacking others. I think most of us have seen that happen.
I didn't see that as being the case but maybe it is something that DS feels needs to be addressed away from the board?
