He is also insulin dependant so very careful about what he eats.
Some days are pretty much normal, as normal as it can be with CD, abd he can sleep thru the night...others.....nope!
I think most of us have had the same thing, good one day, bad the next. And not being able to figure out why. I've spent the best part of 10 years trying to figure it out. And all my days were bad.
In the last 2 months I FINALLY started seeing better results. I started by going on the SCD diet which was good but by really listening to my colon, paying total attention, I found that even in that restricted diet I needed to remove a few more foods.
I think everyone is different and my "bad" foods may not be the same as Pat's "bad" foods.
I tried every diet there was with no results but tried one last time with the SCD diet (again-tried it before) and really paid attention to reactions, kept a food journal. It paid off with the best 8 weeks I've had in the last 10 years. Sleeping better, less diarhhea (almost none), less urgency (almost none).
But if I eat one thing off my list, like I did on Friday, it's back to poor sleep and a bad bathroom day. It's now simple for me.
Two things: SCD diet (with modifications) and the book "Life without Bread" made me better.
Good luck. Keep trying, it's possible to get better.
