Hello everyone
I'd like to get your take on this.
In may, I was at my PCP for breathing problems due to vocal cord paralysis and as a side note she says that I have a lot of issues going on. She said that one of them was crohn's disease. WHAT!!!! I had been going to a GI doctor because of possible celiac disease, but never was anything mention about crohns.
a couple of days ago, I looked up my medical records concerning the vocal cord problem (with a completely different hospital) and it listed a boat load of medical issues, one being regional enteritis. I didn't know what that was so I googled it and low and behold it came up with crohns!!
I have all the medical information from the gi doc from when I had a colonoscopy, and it suggested celiac only, so where is this crohns diagnosis coming from. I will be calling the pcp next week, but I just thought this was interesting.
I really can't afford another health problem at this time!!!
what else do you think I should do??

Did your PCP recommend this GI to give a clear picture these tests? This may be why she received the results so the findings could be explained to you through her... then treatment would be suggested after speaking with you personally. She after all is your doctor when they know they are dealing with something that requires a specialist they then would turn you over to their care. Hopefully this is what happened... if not I be upset at not having been told. Good luck to you hoping for the best for you...

Imneiss..I'm going to look into this today. I just think it's strange that two different hospitals have the same information with me not knowing anything about it.
