What does your flare feel like?

I have had 2 years of stomach troubles.. started shortly after I had my son and had a medical procedure go bad.. I got bad LUQ pain followed by up to 30 bowel movements a day.. I felt like i was starving to death - i was eating A TON but it would all pass through, I was so weak I could barely put one foot in front of the other and my heart was racing! I was hospitalized and placed on IV fluids, changed my diet to gluten free and was scoped 2 weeks later.. that showed gastritis and esophagitis but otherwise normal - though my symptoms seemed to have improve.
I have had a few flares since then, and this past month being 2nd worst- bad pain when I eat.. EVERY time I eat, even water hurts..mostly my LUQ again..but mid right too.. it feels like I have been punched in the abd at times . when I eat it makes me need to have a bowel movement as well, up to 15 or so a day. everytime I eat I want to throw up, eating becomes not worth all the discomfort etc, I drop weight pretty fast when I flare, and I'm already thin.
My sister was just diagnosed with crohns as well. What are the chances that my stomach issues are crohns as well, with a sibling having a confirmed case.. (our symptoms are very similar). I also have a lot of muscle twitching, and some numbness (but all my vitamin levels checked out). Any advice is greatly welcome!

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
Have you consulted with a GI doctor yet? If not, I'd do that so you they can get to the bottom of it.
Flares often involve bowel urgency and diarrhea. But you'll want to get a diagnosis, or at least rule it out.
I have been sooo strict about being gluten free x 2 years, we never ever eat out..... this past flare has been SOO painful! I was awakened all night last night with pain.. I'll eat and I can feel the esophagitis as the food goes down, but then about 10-20 minutes afterwards is AWFUL pain - mostly LUQ, but also mid right.. - is this a common place for crohns pain?? They had wanted me to do the pill cam, but things eventually seemed to calm down and I never did.. plus I worry about it getting stuck!
Do yall get joint pains? muscle twitches?
I had a "clean" colonoscopy 2 years before I became symptomatic. When blood started and D wouldn't stop, I had another scope and was Dx with moderate to severe UC. Within 3 years I was Dx again, but with indeterminate Crohn's Colitis. IMO it doesn't matter "what" I have, I just want to heal.
Gluten free is a good thing, you may want to look into the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD) google it. I've been on the diet for almost a year and it has really helped! Last scope showed signs of healing.
I agree with the others, you need to get your own Dx. Good luck!
I'd make an appointment with a GI doc.
My flare-up from CD is constant going to the toilet, usually bloody stools or constipation. I usually have sver stomach pain and stomach cramping. The pain hurts bad enough to make me cry. I also have horrible gas with the nastiest smell followed by sever joint pains.
