They also have an interesting FiberSmart product which has Flax Seed that is easier on my colon than Psyllium. It also has probiotics, FOS and glutamine, and things like marshmellow and other natural soothing supplements for the digestive system.
The UC doctor I visit swears by Florastor, which is a type of "good" yeast, but the only thing I ever got from taking that was gas, so I went back to the FloraMore.
I've had 2 other GI's that both shrugged and said that the jury is still out on probiotics and how much they help????
Also, Fish Oils, EPA DHA can help with inflammation that is in the lining of the gut that needs repair.
I also drink a glutamine shake once a day (GHI) and it is very yummy and filling. Great for the gut as well!
