Steroids Prior to MRI

Hi Everyone I am New to the group.  Diagnosed 2011.  Remicade put me in Remission.  Have been off for a year and a half.  Huge flare started last week.  Dr. Put me on Steriods, I am feeling better.  My question is, I am scheduled for an MRI tomorrow.  Does anyone know if it will show anything since I am now on Steriods? (Forgot to ask my Doc ;-)... I just don't want the expense and time waste if the MRI won't show anyway (inflamation reduced by steriod?).....Thanks in advance .

Sorry, I really don't know but good luck! Did you try and call your Dr and ask him or her?

I would call your doctor's office and ask, as Jean mentioned. I suspect you still have some inflammation but maybe not to the extent you had last week. I'm not sure what is all looked for with an MRI. Also your doctor may use the MRI in conjunction with lab work to assess the extent of things. Don't know for sure though.

    We all have 24 hours in a day.  How we spend these hours is important.  Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do.  Gonna have to work on that.Your turn.  Tell me another truth.
