ok, after my barium enema... i just had a severe need to cuddle. anyone else have that problem?
Also, when i wake up after being scoped i believe that there should be designated cuddler's of one's gender preference... not to do anything with, just to cuddle. You know... just because you have been "violated" and need some comforting...

I'd talk to your doctor about your feelings Jimmy. Perhaps they could set up the environment a bit better for you during a scope so that you don't associate it with a violation. Or perhaps you feel too pressured by your doctor to get a scope.

Hopefully you can try and cultivate a feeling of empowerment in that you are making the decision to undergo a medical procedure on a sensitive part of your body with the goal of keeping yourself as healthy as possible. But I do agree that after any medical procedure it is nice to have a loved one there for support.

I agree with ya, not the best thing to have done.. I was awake for mine and it took forever to have it done..
