Has anyone heard of people with UC having a service dog. When I can't get out of bed my is always with me. It really helps me to feel better and not think so much about how I feel
I have mixed feelings about that though, because I often meet with county board members, US and State Senators, and various family members and I don't think my little pooter would always be allowed especially when other family pets may have problems. I think it would be cruel to leave my little baby alone for 5-6 hrs. at a time.
I've considered canceling my other involvements so me and my little poochy could be together 24/7.
I may actually end up lonelier and more depressed without the human contact I also feel I need.
I know most dog owners leave their dogs alone for vast lengths of time, but I just couldn't do that.
