I haven't had any hair loss, but I used to shed like crazy!! But now my hair doesn't grow as fast as it used to. I don't know if it is from another one of my meds or what. good luck!

I have had very little hair loss since begining the treatment over a year ago. Remicade has worked very well for me, I am off all other meds, I am only on remicade. Before that I was taking 30 pills a day!

I have had Crohn's for over 9 years now. In the beginning i was on over 60 pills a day, and i could not handle all the pills. The last 7 years I have been on Remicade. If i have had hair loss i have not noticed at all. This treatment works very well for me and has made me the most stable i have been in years. I did start on a 8 week cycle but now every 6 weeks but i still feel strong and my Crohn's has not spread in 6 years. My only advise is dont give up after a couple of treatments. Sometimes it takes several to really start working. I have mine in a doctors office and usually there are 3 others having the treatment too. We are our own peer group and compare notes. I would say i have met over 30 people in my doctors office and just about all except for extreme cases it has worked very well for.

I lost LOTS of hair with Remicade. Also, the Remicade further destroyed my immune system and I had to stop taking it. For some, it is a miracle, for me, it was not.

Since my diagnosis in Feb. 2006 I have lost a TON of hair....but I have also had 4 surgeries, and am on a lot of meds. I was on remicade for 16 months and lost a lot of hair, but I can't say defiitively that it was the sole cause, given all the other meds and the physical trauma of all the surgeries.

Wow now I am more nervous. I think that was the only side effect I did not see. I just had my 1st infusion today so who knows what will happen. I am glad I found this support group.

After 8 years of REmicade and all the side effects. I just switched to Humira. I have to be honest it is much better for me. Hair loss for me was minimal on Remicade but now on Humira it is geting thicker again. As of right now i have had no side effects.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
