Probiotics

For the past few months I've been using Yakult as my probiotic. However, in the middle of September, I'll be traveling & I don't want to worry about keeping Yakult cold or possibly not finding any. Does anyone know of any good probiotics for UC that will travel well?

I don't take probiotics. They've really never done much for me in terms of UC.

I would suggest talking to your local pharmacist. There are several types of probiotics that do not require refrigeration, but I don't know them by name. Your pharmacist should be able to give you some good ideas though.

I usually use tru-biotics from the makers of one 1-day i only take them if I'm having dairy - they help me...

You might consider a pill from for your trip.

My GI recommended Align for my UC but it did nothing for me. I have since found Pearl-IC and love it. There are several different types of Pearl probotic so you should research the one best for your condition.
