Sounds like you are on the right path.
I'm just starting to add anti-inflammatory supplements. The SCDiet got me into remission through diet (no gluten, no grains, low sugar, no starch) but I hear other people say good things about anti-inflammatories so am adding them.
This week I'm adding boswellia and no problems so far. Next week I'll add turmeric pills. I add turmeric powder to foods with no problem.
I only try one thing at a time so I can tell if there's a problem.
Spinach is an everyday part of my diet and like you I drink fresh veggie juice. Cabbage and greens juice with a little carrot.
I also cook with coconut oil which is anti-inflammatory and take fish oil by the spoonful daily.
Because I'm in remission I don't know if my colon still has inflammation but I feel it in my joints so want to remove it everywhere.
Best wishes.
During this week I will also add Boswellia. I have read somewhere that it can be a substitute for Asacol. I also have added coconut and fish oil to my diet.
My friends,
On Thursday I am leaving for a month vacation to a seaside place here in greece (no internet). I will continue this diet plus Boswellia and I will tell you the results next month.
My thoughts will be with you! Dont give up investigating..Kisses to all!!!
Within 3-6 weeks bleeding had stopped and was in remission again.
Avoid ginger as it can actually have inflamatory reaction.
Turmeric is however key for inflmatory situations.
Goood Luck
Inflammation is definitely an issue!
