Chask: Please go and see a specialist as soon as you can. I was on Asacol (2400 mg day) and predfoam. Neither was going anything - infact the predfoam I had been given to dampen down flare-ups was just flushed out immediately. I can't believe I put up with the severe pain etc. I was kind of worried about taking time of work in current environment but if you don't take care of yourself, no-one else will. I have gone from going to the loo 10 times a day also to 1 or 2 /day at the moment which is the best it has been for years... not sure how long it will last like this but hopefully a while. I will be of the prednisolone in 2 weeks I think...
