Dark Brown

Has anyone experienced really dark brown stools? I've noticed them over the past couple of days; I don't know if it's because of my sinus problems or what. I'm working on getting out of a flare and when I wipe I don't notice any significant blood, but the poop is a really dark brown. Anyone experience this?

Plus, when I go poo, everything sinks to the bottom so it's hard for me to see the consistency.

Not sure if it means anything at all. I've had different colored poops over the years, whether flaring or not. I'd be concerned if there were black in your stool, as that is usually blood from high up in your colon.

If there's any change in your diet or meds, that can change your poop color too. If you're not eating a lot of fiber or drinking enough water, not only can that make your poop dark (no fiber means it sits in your colon longer causing it to be darker), but that can be the reason it's sinking.
