Has anyone used Apriso? Is it like Asacol? I don't like Asacol and my doctor wants me to try Apriso. I ended up in the hospital the last time I took Asacol. Your help please.

I just googled your "apriso" - it is a mesalimine drug just like Asacol. It says right on the rx info. that you should not use if you are allergic to mesalamine medication.
Might want to let the doctor know this!!

My doctor seems to think that the dose was the issue with my Asacol problems. I am thinking he might think this other one might digest differently. I did not know if anyone could tell me the differences between how they work. It still makes me afraid to take it. I will try it if he thinks it will work. He was the doctor who got me out of the hospital and he is good at working with me.

asacol, lialda,apriso, is all comes from MESALAMINE,each one is made by diffrent manufactor it dose the same job , evry doctor is diffrent , i am on asacol, no problem only loseing hair just abut it.
