Please give us a report from your doctor!! Love, Becky
Also some times if you take a few deep breaths while on the pulse ox the level goes up a bit.
If you levels on exertion drops to 88 or lower they may want you on home oxygen.
In the early stages of COPD one of the first things that brings us to the doctor is shortness of breath on exertion.
We may feel just fine sitting around, but then when we get up and move about suddenly we feel breathless.
Also getting excited, or smelling perfume or cooking food or smoke can make us breathless.
The medications they use these days help a lot with breathlessness when you have the right medicines you will feel so very much better.
When we are breathless, we are actually puffed up with too much air in our lungs, we are over inflated, do we need to deflate to feel less breathless.
Breath in to the count of 2 and out to the count of 4 or more seconds, this helps you deflate.
