Yeah, it does seem kinda quiet around here doesn't it? To me it's kind of a depressing day. Started out sunny, and then the dark clouds rolled back in. Sigh. And it's one of those day where I don't feel good, and I'm bored, and grumpy. Blah!

To change the subject, and hopefully the mood, I hope we all have a good weekend! Love you all!

I actually went out and did something today. Had lunch with a new friend. We visited for a couple of hours. It was pretty and sunshiny here for a change..

The sun stayed put here in the Sierras, so I grabbed my camera, went walking around the park, down to the canyon, stopped on the roadside and took some pictures of a house I want to paint (a picture of house, not the house itself..LOL).

Now, its time for dinner - then snuggle under a quilt on a chilly night.

Hiya guys how are you all. I am after a bit of advice. My mum had pnemonia 5 years again and as a result now has COPD.et she is an alcoholic and will not stop drinking she also smokes 20 cigarettes a day and is taking an assortment of tablets for depression COPD, you name it, she takes it. today she had to call out the doc as she could not breath but he just gave her steroids. is there anything i can do you think to help her? i have no knowledge of this condition so dont really know much xxx

Best thing your mom can do for herself is to quit smoking. It won't do any good to nag her about it, but it will help her if she does quit. More than likely, she needs to quit drinking, too.

I hope she improves, but I am wondering....what are you doing to take care of yourself?

You have a lot on your plate. Are you getting support and help?

There's a great group of people here, all willing to help, I'm sure, so I hope we can be a ray of light for you.

Hi Gang we spent the afternoon in petsmart with Karli . It was a rainy boring day . We bought her this huge round fluffy pillow got it home put her on it she pawed it rolled on it got it just like she wanted for a long winter nap then said to heck with it and jumped on the couch lol
The WAR has began she is going to love her pillow yet .

It's a good thing we don't have a Petsmart here, I would probably break my budget buying things for my pup Sheba. Good luck with getting Karli to use her pillow. It will be interesting to see if you can change her mind about getting on the couch.
