i know---he kind of grew on me compared to "others" that have come here to "study" us---he actually had some interesting advice when he was asked.

Well, not so much. This is one of the places where we all get to shine - because of the experience, hope and prayers we give each other. I think (other than the obvious slight animosity that peeps out every so often) that the professionals that float in and out of here don't exactly have the same incentive that we have. We come in here fairly beat up - then stay because of the support we get...

As Dennis says, he doesn't have anything invested in being here. I was one of the ones that had a running Q&A with him and he was here and then he was gone.

I appreciated the info that I gained and he could be a real attribute for the group but again, this is our disease not his and I wish him good health.

Now we depend on our peers mostly and that is a tremendous help.

There's the chance that he was overstepping the boundaries of his certification by giving professional advice, especially online, therefore risking losing his cert.
