Does anyone know anything about this med. It is supposed to be on a par with Spiria. My doc recommended it to me today. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hello, I have never heard of this inhaler. According to the info, it was just approved this year. It sounds like all the others in that class.

I would be interested to know if any one else has used this. I have no problems with Spariva, myself, so I wonder what the benefits would be to changing?

Make sure the doctor has put you on it because he feels it would benefit you, not just because it is new and the drug companies gave him lots of samples.

I don.t mean to sound cynical , but let us know . If it is better than Spariva, then it is a very good thing....

I notice it has a lactose component - so probably not too good for those intolerant. That and interactions with both tiotropium and ipratropium. Looks like they are trying to capture some of the Advair and Spireva customers

I know that it is about $25 more expensive than Spariva and you have to use it twice a day instead of just once. Spariva is working fine for me and there is no monetary gain. I was just curious if anyone had heard of it and used it.
