Rocky has been laying low however, I think he has a friend that visits as well. Since they look-alike I can only tell my the limp when they walk. Rocky must have warned his friend about me. One look at me and he or she takes off. This happened last year around this time, they are bold enough to keep coming back even when they know you are hunting them, I keep getting gifts on my step. The other day it was sea shells and this morning it was a dead fish. Maybe Rocky thinks if he shares his loot with me I will stop hunting him down.
I have motion detectors out back and he used to set them off. He must have noticed that the lights come on and he has learned to avoid the detectors. I am going to set my trap out tonight. If I catch him I am not sure what to do with him. I am afraid to come close to him to pick up the cage and the animal dept charges 250.00 just to relocate him after I catch him.
I will keep you all posted on Rock, I am tired of him laughing his a$$ off at me.

I know, I know-----some still believe that raccoons are cute little critters, just minding their own business, and would make a great pet. Any of those folks seen what a raccoon can do to another animal? Oh well, this Oregon gal knows a little something----not much mind you; but living where I do----I know about bears, cougars, mountain lions, fox, wolves, raccoons, and many many other forms of wildlife.

No third opinion for me. I like what this dr says. He acts like I am not really sick and I like that plus he gave me over 700.00 of drugs. Ya got to love him for that............
As for Rocky, well I know I have had my times with Raccoons too, used to have a family of them living under my shed. Must be he is pleading for his life by leaving you a fish and sea shells.
I would be doing the same thing you are doing, trying to get him.
If a mouse gets in my house it is taking it's life in his own hands, I will see to it they don't last long, same thing with my bird feeders or if I had a pond. Soon there will be little Rockies, sorry to say but, it's a fact of life.
