After reading Paula's post about thrush I thought I would add the name of the mouth was that I found better than the meds that were prescribed to me. It is called Steri/sol. I found the thrush was gone in less time with this.

I have had Thrush once; and it was very painful. I feel empathy for any person that gets it. No doctor told me to rinse thoroughly after using inhalers. Now, I know to rinse; and have had no problems.

Had it once, just rinse your mouth out with water and give a gargle or two, never had it since.

I also had thrush, but it went away when I changed inhalers - from Abrivia to Spiriva.

Rinsing did not help.

I had It once too! It is painful. It's a form of a yeast infection. You could try eating yogurt.
