Hope this page works. The answer is almost to the bottom.
The person who answered on the copd foundation said Beetle Clip.
Well, when I googled that I found a site Alibaba.com and the device called a curtain hook clip.
Would need some modifying to accommodate the tubing, or you could maybe even make one at home if you have an old name tag clip and some...uh...baling wire :) Probably a way to use duct tape as well ( I am just being silly now)
Good luck to you.
The guy with the answer is Michael R......down near the bottom. :)
I still got SOME kinks, but not as much. They are like little plastic things, that hook into tubing, like an extension piece.
They tell me you just have to stretch it out, and unravel the kinks, but I think someone would make a mint, if they came up with an idea, that got rid of kinks and the "wrap around" problem that we all have with moving around the house.
Hmmm...who wants to be an inventor??? LOL!!!
Boo
Boo, are you talking about the connector from the tube to the cannula? There is no connector within the 50 feet and that is where the kinking happens.
I have found the swivel connectors can make a lot of difference , but it is true you need to change out all the tubing at times, because they just get in bad shape.
I have been "brought up short" to many times, and it is either because the swivel connector gets hung on something, or the tubing is tying its self in knots.
I have learned as I walk from the bedroom to the kitchen, to coil the tube in my hand and "play " it out as I go. That works most times.
I will be watching for any ideas or inventions !!

Hope you can figure out a better solution............meanwhile, I will go back to bed.......LOL :)

expensive..if you do a google search for oxygen tubing reel and it will give you different sites to go to and a site for YouTube video on the reel. Good luck..
There are lots of ideas for reeling in tubing. I only know what works for me. If I have to go farther than my kitchen, like outside or something, I put a cylinder on my rollator and go.
Hope someone discovers "the answer". (Love you sister Bear, go back to sleep now )

when i'm just sitting in my chair or in bed at night it is easier to coil up what i'm not using.
i must admit tho; i am really bad about taking mine off to run to the bathroom or something & of course it's when i'm moving that my 02 drops the most.
i swear my dog thinks it's funny to follow behind me & step in my tubing to bring me to that abrupt stop i hate so much.
i don't know what a curtain hoop is--- my 02 wraps around my neck at night (yeah, i must roll all night LOL)---i found in the stationary section fo walmart or kmart the clips that go on plastic ID cards (they are real cheap & come with a bunch);
i found that the plastic loop fits perfect around my hose & then i clip it to my waistband so at least my tubing wraps around my waist at night (and easy to unclip for the potty runs :)
the clip isn't strong enough to hold though if my line gets caught up on something.
sherryb; that roll up thing looks kind of cool...have you ever tried it?
debib---i wish i could figure out a way to suspend mine to the ceiling! winter is coming and in the winter my line gets so much condensation that i can't use my humidifier bottle and that water trap thing they give me doesn't work on the canula part.(i never realized how COLD my floors get in the winter!!!).
good post...if anyone has any handy hints for making these things work better, please share :)
Once I wake up I just use my m6 tanks in a backpack. I usually keep my backpack on all day and alternate between that and an e-tank on a cart or my POC depending on what I am doing.

Very pricey

Seems to be sold only in bulk....this is what I said you could improvise....which it sounds like someone already does with the name tag thingy. I was thinking for mainly in the kitchen. Something like the planter hooks to have as an anchor point and then hook the tubing to your waist.
