Chest tightness is also a symptom of anxiety. With all that bad stuff happening preceding your downward spiral it certainly could be a factor. I know that when my mom passed I had problems with anxiety, and losing your mom and a sibling back to back and then almost losing your dog could certainly do it. Anyways I hope you get to feeling better.

Also, the albuterol can cause anxiety, especially of overused. I was only using it slightly more than recommended and it triggered a minute panic attack. If, as you said "You felt better after not using it for a week" then it might be causing anxiety symptoms.

My family thinks a lot of my problem could be anxiety. I also take Wellbutrin which causes anxiety.

Yes I have been through the works with the Pulmonologist. He just shakes his head. Been treated with different antibiotics etc. he says my lungs don't look all that bad in X-ray. Diaphragm kind of flat. Cat Scan ok.

I will schedule some appts this spring.

I feel ok right now. But just sitting here. And no Albuterol since day before yesterday.

It's easy to just say go back to Dr ...try other things...but they haven't really been able to help. They would a heart catheter or whatever that is but I passed the ultrasound etc n said come back in 2 years but then wanted to schedule me for the angiogram?

I am mostly wondering how many of you have these same problems, severe chest tightness? Maybe it's severe anxiety!

Zigzag, my other 2 Siblings kind of tossed me to the curve, and have had to struggle to get heirlooms meant for me. It's all just nothing. That broke my heart. My brother and other sister were my friends.

Her house was already in us kids name but my brother threatened to get my name off. He can't cause I have a warranty deed for 1/4 since 2011. My nephew has sticky fingers so they accused me of taking things. It's all a lie..it's a nightmare. I just sit here with mouth open.

The house isn't worth that much but it's part mine. I have offered to sell my 4th to my brother for tax value on TIME! OMG

I have come so close to forcing sale but it's just not that valuable.
I start having more trouble breathing just thinking about how my sister and brother turned on me. It really did break my heart. To have them do this wihile I have lost loved ones. But I have always been the scapegoat of the family.

And I live with my highly stressed x husband!

So sorry you've been having such a rough time lately. However, I think you've answered your own question ... STRESS. I'm sure that when all your family issues have been resolved you'll begin to feel a lot better all round. In the meantime, take your meds as prescribed and try to unwind a bit. Or chat to your dr.
